Financial Accounting and Reporting

Students will increase their technical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting while also developing broader professional and business abilities such as problem solving, critical thinking, research, assessment, and communication. Students must apply accounting standards and professional judgment to determine the appropriate accounting treatment for transactions and events, identify their impact on financial statements, and prepare financial statements and related note disclosures.
